Mother becomes continent's only wolfsbane cure after Alpha chooses sweetheart's child over theirs.

  1. Ten years past, wolfsbane claimed a daughter's life in Healing Grove while her Alpha father rushed the sole antidote to his childhood sweetheart's child, who bore only a scraped knee.

  2. The mother shattered their mate bond that day, vanishing into the Herbalist Guild to master forbidden herbalism, emerging a decade later as the continent's lone witch able to neutralize the rare toxin.

  3. Now the Elder Council dangles a million gold coins for her cure, but the patient's portrait freezes her blood — she tears her healer's badge away and shreds the medical file, refusing the case entirely.

Stand-outs

  • Alpha's trivial choice destroys family and creates a legendary healer
  • Protagonist's refusal flips the rescue mission into personal reckoning
  • Forbidden herbalism mastery spans a decade of solitary obsession
