Short Comic Drama

Privacy: the fine print

Revised 4 November 2026

Short Comic Drama is a reading room, not a club. There is nothing to join, no comment box, no newsletter and no ad network peering over your shoulder. Below, in plain words, is what does and does not happen while you read.

No names, no files on you

Nobody here will request your name, inbox address, phone number or card details, and no dossier on readers exists. No tracking cookies are set, and no outside analytics, web fonts or ad tags get pulled in.

The press log

For each request our web server jots down one ordinary access-log line: which address was asked for, when, the status it got, the referring page your browser reported, the user-agent text it sent and the visitor address Cloudflare forwards to us. Those lines feed daily totals, help us chase broken pages and let us turn away abusive traffic. They are never sold, swapped or joined up with other data.

The reader dot

The first time a page is tapped, wheel-scrolled or typed on, it posts a single tiny ping to our own server. The ping holds three things: where on this site you are, the host name of whichever site sent you here (left empty if you typed the address yourself) and the age of the page in milliseconds. No ID rides along and nothing is saved in your browser for it. It exists only so our totals can tell people from robots.

Carried by Cloudflare

Cloudflare sits between this site and you: it caches pages near readers and turns away attacks. Whatever connection data Cloudflare handles is covered by its own privacy terms.

Videos and the little helper

Episodes stream directly from machines run by the companies that own or license each series, so those machines see your request the way any website would. For certain archived series your browser keeps a small service worker from this site that unpacks the episode; it is pure code, stores nothing about you, and your browser settings can remove it whenever you like.

Codes, clipboards and commissions

Short Comic Drama makes no series and runs no streaming app; it is an independent guide. At the next-panel stop the series code goes onto your clipboard only after you tap the button yourself, and this site never peeks at anything already sitting there. Some outbound links carry an affiliate tag, so the partner knows we sent you and may pay us a commission if you watch or subscribe. Over in the partner's app, its own privacy policy takes over.
