Archaeologist becomes condemned king; hourglass swaps them across centuries.

  1. Archaeologist Maya Bennett slices her palm on a bronze hourglass and wakes as Cassian Vale, Veyra's despised monarch, kneeling for the executioner's axe. Official records call him a tyrant, yet the throne room crawls with traitors and Caldrin's legions mass at the border.

  2. Fresh blood on the artifact yanks Maya between her dig site and the fourteenth-century court, forcing her to share Cassian's form. She leans on allies Lyra, Seraphine, and wary commander Rowan to untangle the conspiracy that framed him.

  3. Every rescue rewrites the future. Maya returns to a modern Veyra locked in a seven-century war and finds herself Prime Minister. Restoring the timeline means diving back, halting the conflict, and facing the real Cassian before both eras shatter.

Stand-outs

  • Dual-timeline body swap driven by blood-activated artifact
  • Vilified ruler revealed as betrayed pawn of his own court
  • Protagonist's modern identity shifts to Prime Minister as history rewrites
