A future system forces a scavenger to rescue four women or burn.

  1. Scavenger Evan Cross scrapes by on a furnace-hot Earth where water is money and women are legal property. A transmission from tomorrow hijacks his nervous system with a simple threat: pull four specific women from lethal danger or be incinerated on the spot.

  2. Each successful extraction rewrites his genetic code, granting abilities that shift him from desperate nobody toward wasteland command. The targets are extraordinary, the environments murderous, and the system tolerates zero failure.

  3. Power accumulates with every woman brought to safety, but the wasteland's rulers watch his ascent. The ultimatum remains absolute: complete the quartet or turn to ash, leaving the scorched world unchanged.

Stand-outs

  • Genetic upgrades tied directly to rescues
  • Water-as-currency wasteland economy
